According to him, research on the electrical conductor made from glass is already there in some developed countries, but how different, because it detects how much simpler and cheaper but produce the same quality. Asked how to make a superionic conductor glasses, he explains, the glass mixture is heated at a temperature of 800 degrees Celsius until molten and then rapidly cooled again.

"In the glass formed ions (electrically charged atoms set-red) derived from ingredients mixed in that the silver (Ag), lithium (Li) or copper (Cu). With so conductivity of glass increases," he said as he admits that they are too busy to patent the results of his research.

Electrically conductive glass made from this in the future, he added, was made toward the thin film battery with micron-sized thickness used in "smart card" or on the chip. Now he is able to produce glass ionic conductors with greater power than existing battery. Alumni Physics Department of the Bandung Institute of Technology hope, a time when Indonesia could produce findings of its researchers battery, since in modern times more and the rechargeable battery can not be separated from daily activities.
