Community bloggers anging Mammiri exactly four years old on Thursday (25/11) yesterday. Irayani Queencyputri, founder of the association's bloggers Makassar, send email to Yahoo! Indonesia. He talked about the history of that community, activities, and various things about anging Mammiri, which is now chaired Syaifullah Daeng Gassing. Makassar did have a "virtual life" lively. Check it:
Anging Mammiri means breeze. The people in Makassar happy to spend the afternoon enjoying the beautiful sunset views, while enjoying the breeze at the edge Losari.
The name was then used by the community becomes a place for bloggers in general and Makassar in South Sulawesi in particular, to be able to more easily exchange information and expand the network of friends.
Initially, the community formed by Blogger Makassar feel 'jealous' see bloggers communities in other cities that have been developed first. This community originated from some bloggers Makassar listed on Blogfam blogger community (Blogger Family). It's one of the pioneer community of bloggers in Indonesia, which was founded by Labibah Zain, better known by the name Maknyak.
One day in November 2004, Maknyak came conducted research studies and to meet with the bloggers in Makassar. Ground coffee which was attended by several members Blogfam in Makassar that then went into the coffee-ground coffee next, then the idea to form a community of bloggers Makassar.
The idea was fairly time-consuming to be realized. After many months, finally emerged with the establishment of community seed mailing list bloggers in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blogger_makassar Makassar. Then following the angingmammiri.org site on October 16, 2006, which features the slogan "Where Kumpulna Blogger Makassar", which is not intended as a geographical barrier, but as a "brand" to bind the bloggers who have a historical trail in Makassar, although he could have stayed in other parts other world.
This community later formalized as a Community Blogger Makassar Angingmammiri.org on November 25, 2006. Of 114 bloggers on the site angingmammiri.org, and 100 bloggers listed in the mailing list Blogger Makassar, the number was now more than 1,000 bloggers on the site angingmammiri.org, and 623 bloggers listed in the mailing list bloggers Makassar.
Each birthday, celebrate it with thanksgiving anging Mammiri involving discussions and seminars. This year, discussions and seminars were not held again, but replaced outings to know the cultural characteristics and the environment in South Sulawesi.
