SAN FRANCISCO, KOMPAS.com - After acquiring YouTube in 2006 valued at 1.65 billion U.S. dollars and DoubleClick in 2008 of 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, Google Inc. is currently planning to buy some more companies to support its online services. The plan was revealed by David Lawee, Vice President of Corporate Development Google, last weekend.
According Lawee, the acquisition is one step to improve the products produced by Google. That is why, the biggest Internet search engine company will continue to make acquisitions to expand his new business. That way, "It will not surprise if we'll see more big opportunity. The world today is changing very fast. The company that two years ago was a child has now become a very big," said Lawee in an interview quoted by Bloomberg.
