LONDON - Police in England requesting additional staff to cover a few websites that are believed linked to criminal acts

Serious and organized Crime Agency (Soca), one has requested assistance to Nominet, the organization authorized to manage the website addresses the UK, considering their power to shut down several websites that allegedly involved a crime and seized a number of domain names such sites. Similarly, as quoted from the Telegraph, Friday (03/12/2010).


Party invitations from Nominet said that Soca is still a proposal, and still requires input from other parties to make an official policy. The experts have also warned that the agreement should be very careful, to avoid the occurrence of errors.
