Google has just donated the money of USD250 thousand to iGotITtoo, an organization that delivers technology training and other tools to communities in need, whose charitable actions will be conducted throughout the city of New York.
NEW YORK - Google has just donated the money of USD250 thousand to iGotITtoo, an organization that delivers technology training and other tools to communities in need, whose charitable actions will be conducted throughout the city of New York.
IGotITtoo organization which was founded in 2007 year ago, operating in Brooklyn, where the members of the community will strive to ensure that all people in their area have access to technology tools, devices that can sometimes make a huge difference in access to services and quality of life. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable, Wednesday (12/01/2010).
Two founders of iGotITtoo began teaching computer classes and community iGot ITtoo now have to add a staff of 30 volunteers to teach two to three classrooms and labs per week in their teaching location in Brooklyn.
Santana Kenner, CEO of iGotITtoo said in a statement "is our mission to end the inequality of digital technology to build community capacity to influence the technology to enhance educational and economic opportunities,"
iGotITtoo plans to expand their technology training and education in 2011.
