Fadel Muhammad, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (NOA), Fadel Muhammad seeks ministry to continue to develop the culture of corruption in performing their duties.
In a discussion entitled 'Cultivating Culture of Corruption in Indonesia Making Marine Products Producers' at the House of Mina Bahari III, on Thursday (16/12/2010), Fadel revealed three keys that are used to fix the ministry towards the ideals free of corruption.
The first key is meant its officials. "The managers and these people need our fix. Because that's the most important among all. If people are correct, it was safe," he said.
Lock both systems. During a minister, Fadel admitted that he had made some improvements in the CTF system. Budget to make it happen even reach more than Rp 1 trillion.
The third key is not less important is information technology. During the first Governor of Gorontalo, Fadel said that already use e-procurement system in achieving clean governance. Next year, Fadel hope ministries could use the same IT system.
"Three is the key to my experience in making improvements in toward clean government. We will be clear to the front, check that all went well," he added.
He said also, the culture of corruption, collusion and nepotism must be confronted with a positive culture, which is against corruption and collusion with the culture of clean and transparent and to fight nepotism with the culture of professionalism.
