Microsoft announced that their Internet browser, Explorer 9 has been downloaded more than 20 million times. Although not clear whether that number comes from the download itself or by repeatedly downloading the same person.
WASHINGTON - Microsoft announced that their Internet browser, Explorer 9 has been downloaded more than 20 million times. Although not clear whether that number comes from the download itself or by repeatedly downloading the same person.
In a blog posting on the Windows team, Roger Capriotti, Director of Internet Explorer Product Marketing, says that figure is already downloading IE 9 'excess'. Similarly, as quoted from Neowin.net, Monday (12/03/2010).
"We launched IE9 in 2010, and the response from the launch on September 15, Beta IE9 ago too large,"writes Capriotti.
"Combined with a half-percent of new users dipekenalkan with IE9 Beta, the latest browser now has a 34.07 percent rate of users worldwide, according to Net Applications," added Capriotti.
Although the new beta format, which means not yet fully ready to be launched to the public, nor has the final version, IE9 now been used by many people, though popular with the level of Google Chrome browser.
Capriotti also tell when 13.81 percent of the world's Internet users are still using Internet Explorer 6, which was first launched in 2001.
