Based on a survey sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the level of digital piracy and the trade in fake goods increasingly alarming. Overall the site was able to attract 87 million visitors each year.
As for Filesharing service that provides a variety of pirated digital products, especially music, movies and software, most traffic came from RapidShare, MegaUpload and Megavideo. The three services were reported to reap a total of 21 billion pageviews every year.
More than two-thirds of the number of sites studied MarkMonitor, comes from North America or Western Europe. While Eastern Europe became the host of the 14 percent of sites selling fake goods.
