TEL AVIV,  KOMPAS.com - Former Israeli President Moshe Katsav in a hearing that was held in a local court found guilty of rape on Thursday (30/12/2010).

The results of this trial, as preached by the Israeli mass media, is nothing new for the former head of the Jewish state.

Katsav, who led in the period 2000-2007 has denied allegations of rape, harassment, or violence filed by three former aides.

Now Katsav will probably appeal the case is decided by the district court of Tel Aviv - the break with a nice long prison sentence - to the Supreme Court of Israel.
