IPhone user sues Apple iPad Problem and Personal Issues
Bangalore ( Antara / Reuters ) - A group of users of the iPhone and iPad have sued Apple Inc. in charge of certain applications (apps) to channel the user personal information to third-party advertisers without user permission, according to court documents.
In the claims which seek class action, filed into a federal court in California, plaintiffs seek a ban distributing user information without permission and compensation money, according to case documents posted on scribd.com.
Together with Apple, maker of famous apps like Textplus4, Paper Toss, Weather Channel, Dictionary.com, Talking Tom Cat and Pumpkin Maker also called as a defendant in the lawsuit it.
"Not a single defendant also told the plaintiffs about their actions, and none of the defendants were the plaintiff obtained permission to do that," according to a lawsuit filed on December 23 it.
Unique Device ID, which Apple claimed as the instruments, according to a lawsuit, it has become attractive features for third-party advertisers to find ways melacar activities "online" (in network) users of these mobile devices.
