SAN FRANCISCO - One of the founders of Facebook, Chris Hughes to develop a site devoted to charitable purposes. Sites that are named Jumo has now entered the beta stage and will soon be launched.
According to the LA Times, Wednesday (11/30/2010), this site allows people to find programs that are important to their charity and enable them to follow a charity program that can also be seen by friends.
Jumo, the plan also will connect with the largest social networking site Facebook.
Each user Jumo a charity program organized by an organization will be given a 'flow' of news, so that users can continue to find out information and also provide information about what happened during these charity programs. It is expected that it will allow people to develop stronger relationships with organizations or persons who held a charity program for humanitarian purposes.
When the user first logs into the Jumo with a Facebook account, they will follow a survey whose results will indicate the possibility of a suitable charity program that can be followed.
Jumo will continue to provide news updates users disebuah charitable programs including update Twitter, YouTube videos and comments from friends.
In approximately 3500 the site recorded a complete organization "with the mission of charity that they have to attract donations from users Jumo.
For information, Hughes is the man who helped Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook while still at Harvard University. He was nicknamed "The Empath" when developing the social networking site.
