CALIFORNIA - Innovation has not stopped being made by Google, the California-based company is now developing a new WebGL based applications that can map the human body in 3D.
Body service called Browser will allow users to explore the human body the same way as Google Earth. Users can zoom through the layers of skin and muscle to check for certain bone and organs and look at pictures of different body parts.
Launched by TG Daily, Saturday (18/12/2010), this application has a search bar and navigation systems around the world like that of Google Earth. There was also a YouTube video, which shows the Body Browsers such as skeleton, the muscles of the circulatory system and organs in the spin, which is described in an interesting way through the 3D image.
It can be used for children, the company expects this service will be useful for professionals, so the detail more clearly and more flexibility in anatomy lessons. It also can assist in medical research.
Currently, this application is only available in beta, and only for those using browsers that enable WebGL, although it may be expanded again next year.
