JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Member of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya Ditreskrimsus) managed to dismantle prostitution syndicate online through social networking sites. From these syndicates, two people who act as a website owner and pimps have been secured.
These syndicates are specifically female prostitution calls with high-class fare.

"These syndicates are specifically female prostitution calls with high-class fare," said Director Reskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Yan Fitri, told reporters on Thursday (12/30/2010).
Two suspects who secured it is Velerius Wens alias Wayan Robby Valerian who serves as webmaster and a woman named Wida Martini aka Ami who acted as pimps.
"Both of them started operating since 2008 with a turnover of hundreds of millions of dollars," said Yan.
Yan explained that the arrest of two suspects was originated from information that is the practice of prostitution who used the Internet media. Following up on that information, it then conduct its investigation in cyberspace, which is then known to the offering of prostitution through the pages www.Bluefame.com, http://www.friendster.com/, and http://www.facebook.com/.
From the third page the officer then tracked from the pages of this syndicate. Officers finally get a contact number pimps who provide the women call for the customers.
"On Facebook the suspect using the name of the Kekasih Gelapmu Id, while on Friendster using Id Robby Valerian," he said.
To catch the suspects, members of the police trap by ordering female pimps call at a hotel in Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta. That's where the pimps and the manager finally secured official website.
Meanwhile, Executive, Adj (The Center) Special Crime Directorate Cyber Crime Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP (Adjutant Commissioner of Police) Suwondo Nainggolan added, the rates offered by the suspects to customers based on female facial beauty.
"Of course, with varying rates, depending on facial photographs of women being offered. The more beautiful, yes, more expensive," he explained.
He said, the charge of prostitution syndicates from Rp1 million to $ 2.5 million for a single transaction of women who receive customer calls.
