The fate of Motorola After Split
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NEW YORK - Motorola, a leading telecommunications company from the United States, finally officially 'broken'. Manufacturers 82-year-old mobile phone is intentionally split into two separate companies, namely Motorola and Motorola Mobility Solutions.
Mobility will focus on Motorola products. While Solutions will focus on non-mobile product line. Reportedly, Motorola is working on a Nokia tablet.
Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola's Mobility said the new company will be very focused on the development of mobile phones and gadgets that are now rife.
Motorola in the U.S. is known as a pioneer of electronic technology. He introduced the car radio in the 1930s, then television in the 1940s, and mobile phones in 1980.
"Mobility should be very focused on the child's phone. World phones in the last five years is growing very rapidly," said Gartner analyst Michael Gartenberg. "Hopefully after this Motorola product more innovative, more beautiful designs, clever entry into the mobile market, and able to make a trend," he said again.
Motorola is currently lying with resistance from Apple Inc. and BlackBerry and Nokia. Whereas in 2004, Motorola dominate mobile market had passed Moto Razr design.
