Glancing Start Blackberry Android?
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Research in Motion (RIM) apparently became interested in Google's Android OS. There has been speculation that RIM is going to sink Dalvik Virtual Machine, a new Java-based system developed by Google.
This system will be embedded on QNX-based Playbook. No quit in Playbook, RIM also touted the same system will sink to the newest gadgets.
Through the adoption Dalvix, enabling devices with QNX OS can run applications developed on the Android Market. If this is true, of course, RIM devices will make it easier to enjoy a variety of applications developed by Google such as Gmail, Google Maps, Android Market and various other Google services.
When Dalvik be an option, this course will provide a positive impact on the Blackberry App World. Will supply more and more applications into a virtual mall developed by RIM this.
RIM itself before opening the application developers an opportunity to supply applications for Playbook. The entry into the Blackberry App Android Market World, makes Playbook 'new power' to compete with Apple iPad, or other Android-based tablet.
