JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Indonesian national team coach, Alfred Riedl, considered to violate the law because it has to discriminate in the selection process of the national team.

It was mentioned by members of Commission X of the Democratic Faction, I Gede Pasek Suardika, when expressing an opinion at a meeting of the Commission of X with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, on Wednesday (19/01/2011) in the House of Representatives. Gede assess the discrimination that occurs in football players who play in the Premier League Indonesia (LPI).
"Explanation of Irfan (Bachdim) can not enter the national team due to play in the LPI are not acceptable. Riedl was breaking our laws," said Gede.
Riedl, Gede said, could refuse Austria coach Irfan if it assumes that Malang Persema attacker does not have the ability as expected. "The principle of sport has been violated," he said.
Furthermore, Gede assess Riedl should get a reprimand or punishment for committing a discriminatory decision. "Especially to wear the national team affairs budget. It's better we do not win, but sportsmanship rather than vice versa," he said.
