JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Minister of Communications and Information Technology (Communication and Information Minister) Tifatul Sembiring acknowledge that the blocking of pornographic sites on computers and mobile phones not perfect. Some porn sites are reported still to be opened.
"Where there is perfect. People just do not have a perfect," said Tifatul told reporters at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Thursday (2/18/2011) when asked about the effectiveness of the blocking of pornographic sites.
Tifatul said, blocking is not enough. It takes a community awareness of the dangers related to pornography. "His name's technology, can be accessed by any means. It could be diakal-akali. But at least already massive user can not," he continued.
Meanwhile, related to pornography on the Blackberry, Tifatul said, 90 percent is not a porn site can be opened in the application. Tifatul also ask the community to work together to combat pornography.
"Please just reported, it added later on the list (porn sites are blocked). List we added on," he said.
