JERUSALEM - Google's Street View service apparently never acceptable in any country. Now Israel was worried the same thing.
Launched by Yahoo News, Wednesday (02/23/2011), the Israelis announced that they are worried about Google's Street View service which will take a picture map of the city of Israel.
Country Parties concerned if Google's service will be used by terrorists to plan serangkan to a specific location or to a particular political figure in the country.
A team of Israeli cabinet ministers, led by the intelligence minister, Dan Meridor, instructed and internet technology experts to work with Google to find a safe way to implement such features as quickly as possible.
Street View is itself a service owned by Google which allows users to see virtually a designated location. This service already exists in 27 countries around the world and Google only uses vehicles equipped with cameras to capture images and display them in a virtual location with three-dimensional image.
This feature was experiencing problems and protests from the countries visited, including the U.S., Germany, and other cities.
This issue is just create a dilemma for Israel because the country was known as the most advanced countries but it must always be alert for sudden attacks launched by Palestinian militants.
Before Google Street View, Israel has also been problematic to the Google Earth service that exposes all the facilities and public buildings to the virtual world.
