JAKARTA - Regional-Owned Enterprises (enterprises) from China, China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (CIETCZ) plans to build industrial park in the area of Delta Mas, Cikarang.
Director General of the Ministry of Industry Development of Industrial zoning (Kemenperin) Dedi Mulyadi said the industrial area which is available at the Delta Mas is approximately 500 hectares (ha), but only used 120 ha by China.
Furthermore, Dedi explains, it inaugurated a new land in the region last month. China, said Dedi, targeting, will complete the construction of the plant during the next three years.
"China will bring investors. This Chinese enterprises, which captures industry of China entered. A month ago already inaugurated by the I and the Regent of Bekasi," Dedi said in Jakarta on Thursday (12/30/2010).
According to him, construction of industrial park, designed by Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd. While the developer (developer) of the project is PT Indonesia China Integrated Industrial Area, and constructed by Chinese Harbor PT Indonesia.
Dedi added that other countries have done the same thing with China one of them is Japan who built industrial estate in Karawang. "That certainly would build factories there, it is PT Geely Mobil Indonesia," said Dedi.
Contacted separately, president director of PT Indonesia Budi Pramono Geely car admitted, his side not yet know how much total investment value of plant development in the Delta Mas. Because, until now, the parties have not told CIETCZ land area provided for Geely.
"We do not know how much land area is provided to build the plant. If you already know, then we will know the value of its investment," said Budi. (Eden)
