Coach Malaysia, K. Rajagobal.
KUALA LUMPUR, KOMPAS.com - Malaysian national teams manager, K Rajagopal, said his team still needed away goals, despite winning the first leg 3-0 in AFF Cup final at the Bukit Jalil Stadium on Sunday (12/26/2010).
Malaysia's first goal scored by Mohd Safee in the 61st minute. The second goal by Mohd Ashari Bin Samsudin in the 68th minute, and the third goal was made by Safee at minute 73. Thanks to that, Malaysia only need a draw to seal the scoring title, in the second leg which will be held at the Bung Karno Jakarta, 29. December.
Even so, Indonesia Rajagopal rate can be very dangerous at home and 3-0 victory in the first leg is not guaranteed winner. "There is no team that only lasted for 90 minutes. And so do we. When against Vietnam (in the AFF Cup semi-final second leg 2010), we make three or four golden opportunities," he said after the game.
"There's still 90 minutes we should strive for. Indonesia will be very dangerous at home. However, with improvements in the final touch, we are likely to score a goal in Jakarta," he added.
