JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo) said it will examine a number of diplomatic cables documents Embassy of the United States (U.S.) in Jakarta who leaked by Wikileaks.
"So far I do not know but kemkominfo will certainly help to search and research about the leaked document," said the head of the center of Information and Public Relations kemkominfo Gatot S Dewa Broto Legal when contacted on Friday (03/12/2010).
Gatot added, Kemkominfo certainly do not want to be careless in examining the documents because the government itself does not yet know what kind of leaked data, whether confidential, restricted or open.
"Do not let us spend the energy to something that is uncertain but we will help," said Billy.
Kemkominfo own, continued Billy, of course, will deploy Indonesia Security and Incident Response Team on Internet Infrastructure (ID-SIIRTI) for the research interests of the leaked document.
"We also would not be too active and we will be careful because if we are too active then we feared it would be intercepting the information," said Billy.
Previously unknown, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto has ordered the Minister of Communications and Information Tifatul Sembiring to find the document.
