JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Sites that use Internet addresses ending in Indonesia. Id could not be accessed, on Wednesday (01/05/2011). It happened because of problems on the domain manager system.
"There was a corrupt database on the system Pandi (Indonesian Internet Domain Manager) and have been successfully addressed," according to information on the internet activist Twitter Valens Riyadi Irvan citing Nasrun, Head of Domain Name Internet Service Providers Association of Indonesia.
According to Valens, the system updates the database Pandi had done on Tuesday night, but failed so corrupt. Therefore, on Wednesday afternoon the old database back in so that it can recover back to normal.
Pandi itself has not issued an official explanation about the inaccessibility of domain addresses. Id. Through its website, Pandi only apologize for any inconvenience due to the web site address with the domian. Id is inaccessible since Wednesday at 10.00.
