NEW YORK - Twitter has launched a Korean language version for microbloggingnya service. This is the language of to-7 which was launched by the Twitter service.

The announcement of Twitter is written in Korean. In a posting on the blog, Twitter reveal the reasons why they chose Korea as the language to seven in the service.

As quoted from Mashable, Wednesday (01/19/2011), Twitter choose Korean language because of the number of users of the microblogging service is very popular in developing countries last year.


The number of Twitter users in South Korea has grown 10-fold since last year.

Then not only Twitter.com translated in Korean but also Twitter for Android and iPhone applications. Twitter also launched a recommended list of users, including actor Park Joong (moviejhp) and novelist (Oisoo).

Twitter now supports seven languages, including Spanish, Italian, German, French, English and Japanese.
